Assessment Testing

Before you begin homeschooling, you may want to find out at what level your child is performing. The links below should give you an idea of grade level for most subjects. Whereas, the subject specific links below are for individual placement within the more popular homeschool curriculums.

Testing and evaluations are required in Colorado in 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th and 11th grades. If you're looking for the required state testing, go to Testing & Evaluations.

Comprehensive Assessment

The Comprehensive assessment test will give you an overall idea of where your child places in multiple subjects so that you can begin homeschooling knowing what areas they are ahead or what you need to work on.

Language Arts Assessment

The Language Arts assessment test will give you an idea of where you need to begin with reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary. It will let you know if your child is ahead or, if not, what areas you need to work on with him or her.
