Colorado Adventure Point is a great resource for families homeschooled children: With programs such as Monday Mad Scientist Camp and Open Adventure Day, Colorado Adventure Point (CAP) has a variety of exciting educational programs to engage and inspire children. Visitors start with a climb on the two-story climbing wall, and then head to one of the instructors to learn about the physics and mechanics of what he or she just did. Afterwards, they can check out the Culinary Lab to learn about chemistry through cooking (and take home their creation). To end the day, students get to have some fun in the archery range, and see angles and mathematics in action.

The Colorado Code Club hosts homeschool Scratch classes and camps in and around the Denver and Colorado Springs areas. Homeschool classes/camps are scheduled throughout the year and posted on their website. Up-A-Creek Robotics is a high school robotics team in Longmont working primarily with the St. Vrain Valley School District. Centered around the FIRST Robotics Competition, they probide students with a unique opportunity to work with professionals in the community on realistic engineering challenges. FIRST Lego League (FLL) is the program offered to younger students. They meet once a week in the summer and early fall, then twice a week later in the fall to prepare for competitions in November and December.
